Connections: Photo Challenge

Ailsa over at Where’s My Backpack has some amazing photo examples of connections. She is showing how 2 things are connected. I mistook the challenge for companions, but I think my examples still fit the theme. What do you think?

My Companion in Life

My Companion in Life

The above photo is a shadow pic of me and hubby with a maple tree πŸ™‚ He is my life connection and companion. The maple tree is a nice connection to my Canadian heritage too πŸ˜‰

This is the one and only Willow. My furry companion. It was a year ago this past week that we brought home the little ball of fur that warmed her way into our hearts. She is about 17 months now. I took this photo yesterday as she cuddled on my lap. Saturday is her cuddle day and Sunday she likes me to play chase with her. Willow is quite funny and very smart! Last week we were playing chase and I threw her mouse. She jumped and spun around in the air, only to fall into the laundry basket that was close by. I was doing the laundry and I don’t think she was expecting the basket to be there. She won’t fall for that again. She has a good memory too and will find a toy you have tucked away. Some how Willow knows right where it is. She keeps us laughing and loves attention.

Show your examples of connections or go here to see more.

The lovely shadows made me smile so much! Perfect!

  2. WIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOW! OMG! I want to smush her face and squeeze her! She’s adorable!!

    • Thanks… She is a cutie… if I do say so myself. Today she looked like she was smiling at me and I wish I had the camera handy. I am always snapping pics of her and trying to get different expressions and poses. My husband just rolls his eyes and shakes his head… yet another cat photo πŸ˜‰ I think another cat post should be in the works soon. What do you think? Or am I just the crazy cat lady?

      • No, you’re not a crazy cat lady. My husband hates cats and forbids that I bring one home to live. So, what do I do? Befriend every stray/street cat in town! Oh yes, I’m famous for stopping in the street to give the kitty a little pet. Please … more Willow. πŸ™‚

        • LOL I do that as well. It is cute the parking attendant/guards at our building have befriended some strays and they hang around I always stop to see those kitties too. We almost caught one to take home before we found Willow at the pet shop. We were worried if we had a stray we couldn’t get papers to bring it back to Canada, so we got one at the pet store. I would hate having to leave it behind.

  3. Beautifully connected πŸ™‚

  4. Fabulous connection. πŸ™‚

  5. LOL I think you’re the crazy cat lady =P

I love Willow’s pose…you remind me of Ronda and her love all animals. She is always befriending stray dogs and cats too! Animals know “Good” people!!

    • Yes animals know good people and are always drawn to those afraid of them… maybe to win them over?
Willow is pretty funny and has a variety of crazy poses and antics to match.
Speaking of Ronda say hi to her for us.

  9. love the shadow photo and the symbolism behind it but Willow…OMG what a cutie she is

    • No one can resist the Willow face πŸ˜‰ She is so funny. I need to capture some of her funny antics on video and post those. πŸ˜‰
      Thanks for stopping by.
